Pilates and Sports by Chris Robinson continues to harness the power of The Pilates Method with my own insight and experience as a college track & field athlete, two-time Muay Thai Kickboxing champion, and coach. I’m driven to help others to discover their own inner athlete, enhance their competitive edge, and improve their overall quality of life. What reinforces my passion for teaching and coaching is the fact that Pilates still enables me to continue training at a high level in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

As Joseph Pilates, a boxer, said about his Method “You will develop muscular power with corresponding endurance, ability to perform arduous duties, to play strenuous games, to walk, run or travel for long distances without undue body fatigue or mental strain.”

So whether you’re a professional or recreational athlete or someone who simply wants to train for optimal physical and mental function, I look forward to working with you. I’ll teach you The Method as it was taught to me by two of Joseph Pilates’ students, Romana Kryzanowska and Jay Grimes.

Carrie was introduced to classical Pilates when she met Chris in 2012. After training with him for several years she began to understand and love the complexities of the Pilates method and wanted to make a career out of it so she quit her desk job. After becoming Chris’s apprentice she has never stopped learning about the body. She loves helping people with injuries, training athletes for peak performance and giving people the tools to enjoy activities they love.
