Pilates in Sardinia
A Retreat with Chris Robinson
june 12 - 18, 2026
5 days & 6 nights
“I’ve been going to Sardinia for many years now and it’s grown to be a place near and dear to my heart. The beauty of the island, and the physicality of the lifestyle that it inspires, is something that I want to share with you all.
Last year’s retreat - the first I’ve ever hosted - was so much fun, full of movement, delicious food, and lots of adventures and play. This year we are keeping the same spirit and refining it. Some things will be the same, some different - whether you are joining for the first time, or want to join us again, it will be time well spent.
I hope to be able to show you my favorite places on the island, have some fun, and with a shared love of Pilates we can learn and get stronger all together. Come see for yourself how it earned the nickname, ‘the emerald coast!’”
- Chris

If you are flying from the US or Asia, this will be a long trip with a big time zone difference. If at all possible, we recommend arriving at least to somewhere in Europe a couple of days before the retreat to recover from the long travel and acclimate to the time difference. This way, you will be rested and ready for the workshop at the beginning of the trip.
Multiple past participants came to Sardinia a few days before the retreat to recover from travel, adjust to the time zone, and explore the endless beauty of the island all on their own before joining us. We highly recommend this if possible!
Please note though, that if you arrive to Sardinia on any day before the start of the retreat, we cannot offer support for airport pickup.

You are welcome to have your own car but it is not required.
If you are the type that enjoys having a little freedom to break off from the group to do your own thing, we would recommend it. There will be free parking available at our accommodations.
Let us know if you decide to rent a car, so the estate owners know what to expect.
NOTE: If you plan to rent a car at any time during your trip - you may need an international drivers license. Some rental companies require it and others don't. They are very easy to obtain in advance, so we recommend getting one just to be on the safe side. It's around $20 at your local AAA and you should be able to get it the same day you apply. -
There is so much to enjoy in Sardinia and we encourage you to spend as much time as you are able, exploring and relaxing.
The retreat is during the busy season for the island, so if you are interested in extending your stay, we recommend you reach out to Petra Bianca as soon as possible to find out what is available.
If not there, we can offer some recommendations for other places to try, but of course nothing is guaranteed.

You do not need to be a Pilates instructor, but because this particular retreat will include 12 hours of in-depth Pilates workshops in addition to daily Pilates mat, you’d still have to be a pretty big Pilates enthusiast for this trip to be a good fit for you. You may choose to opt out of the two 6-hr workshop days, but this would not come at a lowered total cost for the trip.
-
Physical activity will be a cornerstone of this trip, however, the activities we have chosen for the group are accessible for beginners. If you are physically active during your daily life you should be just fine participating in everything we are doing together.
As for the Pilates workouts, everyone is encouraged to do what you can, and modify or skip the rest. No one is required to be advanced.
If you have questions or concerns about your physical readiness, or would like to know how you can best prepare yourself to be ready for this trip, feel free to reach out and Chris will guide you.
-
We will collect all allergy and dietary restriction information and do our best to accommodate your needs. If you have a severe allergy or have many restrictions, we cannot always guarantee to provide alternatives for you and you may need to make alternative meal plans accordingly. If you are unsure, please contact us and we will discuss your restrictions and work on a plan together.

There are eight beautiful, unique, cozy rooms available at Tenuta Petra Bianca. While they are all slightly different, each one comes equipped with a mini fridge, direct access to an outdoor seating area, and air conditioning.
Total cost of the retreat depends on the room you’ll be staying in. The cost differences are as follows:
Seaview rooms: $6,200
Large non-seaview rooms: $6,100
Medium non-seaview rooms: $5,900
Small non-seaview room: $5,800
A few of the rooms would be suitable to share with someone you know (sharing one queen or king sized bed).
In the case that you and another participant want to share a room together, your retreat total will be minus (-)$1,000 each.
Space is limited, and rooms that are shareable, even moreso. Please let us know ASAP if you are interested in, or open to, sharing a room.
-
Deposit of $1,000 is due immediately in order to hold your spot.
Half of the remaining balance due February 16th.
Full balance due April 1st.
Total balance will depend on which room you’ve booked (see more in “Room Rates” section).
So for example, if you booked a Seaview room, your total will be $6,200. $1,000 will be paid immediately. The remaining balance is $5,200, so you will pay at least half ($2,600) by February 16th, and the other half ($2,600) by April 1st.
We will confirm your total, and subsequent payment amounts, with you at the time of your registration. If you’d like to make smaller, more frequent payments, you are welcome to do so, as long as the minimum is reached by each deadline date.
Payments can be made via Zelle or Venmo.
